Former Sacramento Kings' assistant coach Deividas Dulkys will be joining Jordi Fernandez's staff with the Brooklyn Nets.

When Mike Brown became head coach of the Sacramento Kings a few years ago, Jordi Fernandez was one of his first hires. With his stellar showings with both the Kings and Nuggets beforehand, it was expected that Fernandez would garner significant consideration for head coach openings leaguewide. Sure enough, he was hired by the Brooklyn Nets and is bringing another Sacramento assistant with him, Deividas Dulkys.

Deividas Dulkys was assigned to Malik Monk, who is headed into unrestricted free agency throughout the regular season. Having been collegiate teammates with assistant coach Luke Loucks at Florida State, the coaching staff had a solid relationship.

When is the next Sacramento Kings off-season date of interest?

The NBA Draft is now a two-night event.

Wednesday, June 26th, will act as the first night of the 2024 NBA Draft, where the Sacramento Kings will make their first-round selection (13th). The second round of the draft will be held on Thursday, June 27th, where the Kings will use its 45th overall pick.

Sacramento hasn’t had a first-round pick since 2022, when it selected Iowa product Keegan Murray with the fourth overall pick.
