As the Sacramento Kings fanbase attempts to wrap its heads around the news that guard De’Aaron Fox has suffered a fractured left index finger, Fox 40’s Sean Cunningham joined Cattles & Ramie to discuss the likelihood of the All-Star suiting up for Wednesday’s Game 5.
The Kings will play a crucial matchup against the Golden State Warriors at Golden 1 Center as one team will move within a win of moving on to the second round of the NBA Playoffs.
Will Fox attempt to give it a go on Wednesday? If Fox is ruled out, who will need to step up in his place?
That and more, below:
Topics Discussed
- Sean gives his latest intel on Fox’s injury status
- “It’s going to come down to what device they can wrap him up with and pain management.”
- When did Fox’s injury take place?
- Is the sense that Fox will attempt to play in Game 5?
- “There is optimism, clearly… I’d imagine that that ‘doubtful’ will increase to a ‘questionable'”.
- Who will need to step up if Fox has to sit out?
- “People I’ve talked to, there aren’t many people hanging their heads saying that they can’t get this done.”
