Stockton Kings complete trade for Drew Timme

After spending time with their Summer League team, the Stockton Kings have completed a trade for Gonzaga's Drew Timme.

While the Sacramento Kings are starting their season, the Stockton Kings don’t kick things off until November. They’re still shaping their roster with a trade for Gonzaga alum Drew Timme.

According to the Kings, Stockton traded Jordan Ford and Deonte Burton’s returning player rights to the Wisconsin Herd in exchange for Drew Timme’s returning player rights. In the deal, Stockton also sent Wisconsin a 2025 second-round pick in the NBA G-League draft.

Ford is signed to the Dolomiti Energia Trento in the Lega Basket Serie A (Italy), while Deonte Burton is with the Busan KCC Egis in the Korean Basketball League.

Drew Timme played for Doug Christie during Sacramento’s Summer League experience both in the California Classic and Las Vegas.

He played eight games during that time, averaging 10.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists on 53.5 percent from the field.
