Report: Kings sign free-agent Terence Davis

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Sacramento Kings are signing Terence Davis. Having played with the Kings previously, Davis is making his return to the NBA.

Dealing with injuries as their 2024-25 regular season winds down, the Sacramento Kings are reportedly signing Terence Davis to a deal, per ESPN‘s Shams Charania.

A familiar face in California’s capital, Davis played with the Kings from 2020-2023. Despite being heavily linked to overseas organizations, the guard elected to remain in the G-League, determined to carve out a consistent role in the NBA.

Unfortunately, Davis suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in January 2024 that temporarily stalled his journey and limited him to just four appearances with the Rip City Remix in 2023-24.

The Sacramento Kings are signing guard Terence Davis to a deal, sources tell ESPN. Davis, who played parts of three years in Sacramento from 2021-23, averaged 14.3 points on 40.2% 3-point shooting for the NBA G League’s Wisconsin team this season.

In 30 games with the Wisconsin Herd this season, Terence Davis averaged 14.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists on 46.5 percent from the field. Often regarded as a microwave scorer and high-level shooter, converting 40.2 percent of his seven three-point attempts per game with the Herd is intriguing.

With Malik Monk forced to leave Monday night’s Detroit game with a left calf injury, the timing of this signing may not be coincidental. No further updates on Monk’s status have been provided, yet.
