Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams have been reunited.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets are in the process of completing a trade that will send the six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver to ‘The Big Apple.’
Adams has been dealing with a hamstring injury over the past few weeks, but it was no secret that the 31-year-old was seeking a fresh start elsewhere. That fresh start has arrived, as Adams will be heading east to reunite with Rodgers, who was his quarterback for eight years when the Green Bay Packers rostered both players.
New York will send a conditional third-round draft pick to Las Vegas to complete the trade, while the Jets will also be footing the bill for the remaining $70-plus million on his contract through the 2026 season.
