San Francisco 49ers announce practice squad moves

The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have signed RB Patrick Taylor Jr. to the team’s practice squad. In order to make room on the practice squad, the team released RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn.
Taylor Jr. (6-2, 217) originally signed with the team on April 8, 2024 where he appeared in eight games and registered seven carries for 25 yards and tallied one reception for 12 yards prior to being waived by the team on November 9.
Vaughn (5-10, 214) originally signed to the team’s practice squad on August 7, 2024.
