More on Brock Purdy

Brock Purdy, 24, set a 49ers’ record for passing yards in a single season in 2023, breaking the previous record held by Jeff Garcia. The Arizona native is a career 21-6 as a starting QB, across both regular season and playoffs. He finished 2023 with 4,280 passing yards (franchise record), 31 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Purdy was a finalist for NFL MVP last season.

Now entering Year 3, Purdy is in line to begin negotiating a massive contract extension after the 2024 season. While he’ll need to ball out to secure the bag, projections suggest a deal in the range of $65 million annually is on the horizon.
