More on 49ers vs. Jets & Christian McCaffrey
Despite looking back to his normal self, the 49ers have left Christian McCaffrey on the injury report ahead of Monday Night.
San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan announced that the running back will be questionable for Week 1’s matchup due to his lingering calf/achilles injury. McCaffrey returned to practice at the start of the week, looking fresh during his first official sessions in a months’ time. However, the 49ers still see him as less than 100%, making it necessary to include him on the report.
The NFL’s reigning offensive player of the year reassured the media that he would be playing earlier this week, looking forward to getting back on the football field.
