After missing the first eight games of the 2024 regular season, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey has returned to practice and is eyeing a return this weekend.

The Athletic’s Matt Barrows joined The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross on Monday morning to share his thoughts on the NFL trade deadline, give his take on what fans can expect from McCaffrey as he returns from an Achilles injury, and much more.

After months on ice, the return of Christian McCaffrey appears to be upon us.

The San Francisco have officially opened the practice window for the star running back to return from injured reserve Monday. This comes following a successful ramp-up to football the past month or so, with a bye week full of heavy practices being the final determinant for his slated return to the practice field.
