The San Francisco 49ers opened its 2024 season in style on Monday, routing Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets by a final of 32-19 at Levi’s Stadium.
With Christian McCaffrey (calf/Achilles) sidelined, the 49ers still found ways to punish the Jets defense. Can San Francisco replicate that output against the Minnesota Vikings this weekend?
During Friday’s edition of The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross, the guys were joined by Greg Papa, the radio voice of the San Francisco 49ers, to preview Sunday’s matchup with the Vikings.

More on the 49ers vs. Vikings matchup
Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season went according to plan for the 49ers as a whole. But for Brandon Aiyuk, he’ll admit it could have been a better showing individually.
The San Francisco 49ers star wide receiver had a modest performance against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. After missing all of training camp and preseason due to a contentious contract standoff, Aiyuk had two catches for 28 receiving yards on five targets. Only returning to practice last week, the Rocklin native was understandably rusty, logging only 60% of the offensive snaps Week 1.
