Following a lengthy standoff, the San Francisco 49ers and star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk have agreed to a multi-year extension.
During Friday’s edition of The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross, the guys were joined by Greg Papa, the radio voice of the San Francisco 49ers, to share his excitement towards the return of football, contemplate if a deal for Trent Williams is in the works now that Brandon Aiyuk has signed, and much more.
Plus, Greg asks Dave for a scouting report on former Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield, who joined the Golden State Warriors in free agency this summer.
Listen to The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross from 6 – 10 a.m. PST, Monday through Friday, on Sactown Sports 1140.

More on 49ers left tackle Trent Williams
The 49ers have been in contract battles with two big stars this preseason. But with the clock getting closer to midnight, the organization feels optimistic that Trent Williams will be with the team soon.
San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch spoke briefly on the matter Wednesday. While both men didn’t shed much light on contract talks with Williams, the signs continue to point to a reworked deal being reached in the near future.
But as of right now, nothing has changed for both the player and the franchise.
“No, there’s no updates there,” Lynch said about Trent Williams. “There’s good communication. We’re constantly working, throwing out ideas to try to have a breakthrough and it just hasn’t happened yet.”
