Las Vegas Raiders receiver Jakobi Meyers had a big day in his debut for the Silver & Black.

After four years in New England, Meyers rejoined Josh McDaniels in Las Vegas this offseason. And on Sunday, he made his presence known in Denver, catching nine passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns as the Raiders beat the Broncos 17-16. Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson was whistled for a 15-yard penalty on a drive toward the end of the game when he hit Jakobi Meyers in the head with an elbow after a key catch, sending him to the sideline. That infraction helped the Raiders run out the clock, but it also put the fifth-year receiver in concussion protocol.

Coach Josh McDaniels didn’t have an update on Meyers Monday afternoon when speaking to the media.

“Yeah, I don’t have any update on Jakobi. He’s in the (concussion) protocol, so that’s all I can say about that,” McDaniels told the media.
