Khalil Mack Will Hold Out Of Raiders Training Camp

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders All-Pro defensive end Khalil Mack will not report to camp Thursday with the rest of his teammates. Mack has already sat out of the Raiders mandatory minicamp earlier in the summer

Raiders’ DE Khalil Mack will not report to Oakland’s camp when it opens Thursday, per source. It does not appear to be a case of posturing.

According to PFT because he’s in the fifth year, Mack would be fined $30,000 a day (less than the normal $40,000 per day) but also more than $814,000 per week if he misses preseason games. With the sides reportedly not being close “at all” in contract talks Mack’s holdout could go all the way to the regular season.
