Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers made quite the first impression during his rookie season in 2024, and now he’s viewed as one of the top players in the game for 2025.
The NFL is releasing its top-100 player rankings for the 2025 season, and Bowers–who will be entering just his second NFL season–comes in at number 24 in this year’s list of the top-100 players in the league.
Brock Bowers set two NFL records during his rookie season in 2024–the most receiving yards by a rookie tight end (1,194) and receptions during a rookie season (112).
Over 17 games, Bowers hauled in five touchdowns to go along with his team-leading yards and receptions marks.
Bowers was named to the Pro Bowl roster, while also securing First-Team All-Pro honors

It was a historic rookie season for Brock Bowers in Las Vegas. Whoever was under center for the Raiders, Bowers was the consistent threat in Vegas’ offense. Bowers set a new rookie record for receptions and broke Hall of Famer Mike Ditka’s 63-year-old TE record for receiving yards set in 1963.
Despite not winning AP Offensive Rookie of the Year, Bowers made the Pro Bowl, earned first-team All-Pro honors and now makes an appearance on the Top 100.
NFL Pro Insight for Brock Bowers: Brock Bowers was third in the NFL with 112 receptions in 2024 (behind Ja’Marr Chase and Amon-Ra St. Brown). Bowers’ 112 receptions were a rookie record regardless of position (he broke Sam LaPorta‘s rookie TE record of 86 receptions in Week 14, with four games to spare).

The Cleveland Browns are trading quarterback Kenny Pickett to the Las Vegas Raiders for a 2026 fifth-round pick, according to reports.
The Raiders were reportedly searching for a quarterback after backup Aidan O’Connell suffered a fractured wrist in Las Vegas’ Week 3 preseason game against Arizona. O’Connell is expected to miss at least six weeks, opening the door for Pickett to slot in behind starter Geno Smith to start the season.
Pickett, 27, was a first-round pick of the Steelers in the 2022 NFL Draft but was traded to Philadelphia after his second season in Pittsburgh.
Pickett appeared in just five games last season with the Eagles, with his only start coming in Week 17 after the team had clinched a playoff spot.
The Browns acquired Pickett from the Eagles in March, hoping he would compete for the team’s starting quarterback spot.
