Report: QB Will Levis takes Top-30 visit with the Raiders Monday

The Las Vegas Raiders have been busy with draft preparation this spring, now inviting quarterback prospect Will Levis for a visit with the team.

Reports surfaced Monday morning that the Raiders will be hosting Levis on a Top-30 visit, hoping to get a more in-depth look at the QB prospect. Levis, 23, is viewed as the third-best QB in the 2023 draft, behind Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news Monday.

Levis is a two-year standout at the University of Kentucky, transferring from Penn State in 2020. The Massachusetts native threw for 5876 passing yards, 46 TDs and 25 INTs in college, showing potential to be at least a starting-level QB in the NFL.

The Kentucky alum does comes with drawbacks however, with decision-making and pocket awareness potential issues at the next level. The Raiders, currently holding the seventh pick in the draft, will look to find out more about the person Levis is both on and off-the-field.

Las Vegas will reportedly also bring in QB Anthony Richardson for a visit this week. After signing veteran gunslinger Jimmy Garoppolo to a three-year deal this offseason, the Silver & Black could use this draft as an opportunity to find their next franchise QB.
