Minnesota Vikings Season Preview: Can Kevin O’Connell Make An Impact?

Compared to other NFL teams, the Minnesota Vikings did not have a splashy offseason.

The team finished 8-9 and missed the playoffs. The bigger moves by the purple and gold were to staff positions. The Vikings hired Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell to replace Mike Zimmer. The team also replaced general manager Rick Spielman with Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, who previously held the title of vice president of football operations with the Cleveland Browns.
