Week 7 of the NFL season is here–but you might want to listen to this before setting your Fantasy Football lineups.

Dave Richard, a fantasy football expert for CBS Sports, joined The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross on Friday to share his waiver wire pickups for Week 6, answer a series of start-or-sit questions, and much more.

Be sure to check out the full interview with Dave Richard on the Sactown Sports 1140 YouTube page.

Topics Discussed: Fantasy Football Week 7

  • Dave lays out how teams playing on short weeks typically allow a heavy amount of running game damage.
  • How does the addition of Davante Adams affect the New York Jets?
  • “I would say give them a half of football to get back on the same page.”
  • Dave expects Adams to be the same receiver that he was with Aaron Rogers in Green Bay
  • “I think that [Adams] is going to be a top-12 receiver.”
  • Will the addition of Adams hurt Garrett Wilson’s value?
  • Dave thinks that Rodgers is a top option at QB now, and Breece Hall could see more openings as defenses pay attention to Adams and Wilson.
  • Can Amari Cooper boost Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills’ offense?
  • Dave expects Cooper to be a top-tier WR, but it could take him until Week 9 to be comfortable in the Bills’ offense.
  • What can fantasy owners expect from Nick Chubb this week?
  • Russell Wilson appears to be taking over the QB1 role in Pittsburgh. Does he have value?
  • Who does Dave like in 49ers vs. Chiefs?

Listen to The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross from 6 – 10 a.m. PST, Monday through Friday, on Sactown Sports 1140.

The 49ers feel like a team of ever-rotating injuries at the moment, with Jauan Jennings being the latest to have his status in question.

The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver was not present during the media portion of Thursday’s practice. This follows his absence a day earlier, battling a hip injury stemming from Week 6. While Jennings was about to make it through the contest with no issue, he has struggled since, with his Week 7 status firmly in doubt at the moment.

Jauan Jennings, 27, signed a two-year, $15-plus extension with the 49ers over the offseason. The former seventh-round pick has exceeded expectations, becoming a focal member of coach Kyle Shanahan’s offense. 2024 has been a breakout in some respects, only 13 receiving yards away from breaking his career high for a season (404). The Tennessee alum has done so through only six games.
