After signing former New York Jets running back Isaiah Crowell back in late March, the Oakland Raiders were hit with a very early blow to their regular season, losing Crowell for all of 2019 with a torn achilles that he suffered during a team workout.

Raiders’ RB Isaiah Crowell tore his Achilles during a workout with the team Monday and is out for the season, per source. Crowell will undergo season-ending surgery next week. Brutal blow for a player who signed a one-year contract with Oakland.

Not the news Oakland was hoping for just after an optimistic draft, attention now turns to Josh Jacobs, the Alabama running back that the Raiders drafted with the 24th overall pick.
