Desperate for reliability in their wide receiver room, the San Francisco 49ers and WR Jauan Jennings have reportedly agreed to a deal that will add $3 million to his salary next season.
As San Francisco’s expected top receiving option with Brandon Aiyuk’s injury, Jennings was headed into his final season set to make $7.5 million in the 2025 NFL season.
Now, with the reported raise, his earnings will increase to $10.5 million. Adam Schefter of ESPN broke the news on Wednesday afternoon.

In 2024, Jennings tallied 975 yards and six touchdowns on 77 receptions. He played in all but one game (15) in his fourth season.
The 49ers have injuries to Aiyuk (ACL), Jordan Watkins (ankle), Jacob Cowing (hamstring), and Demarcus Robinson serving a three-game suspension.
Ricky Pearsall, Skyy Moore, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are expected to be available for head coach Kyle Shanahan week one in Seattle.
Quarterback Brock Purdy should benefit tremendously from having a familiar target out there in Jennings
