Greg Papa believes Christian McCaffrey is the ‘most valuable piece’ on the 49ers

Greg Papa, the radio voice of the 49ers, joined the Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross Friday to praise Christian McCaffrey and preview Sunday’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

The running back’s big game against the Arizona Cardinals resulted in four touchdowns and an NFC Offensive Player of the Week honor. So far this year, Christian McCaffrey leads the NFL in rushing yards with 459 and is tied for first in touchdowns with six.

“He’s the most valuable piece of this offense and right now the 49ers are the best team in football,” Papa said. “Through the first quarter of the year, he’s definitely to me, the most valuable player in the NFL.”
