Riding high on a dominant win in Jacksonville, the 49ers return to Levi’s Stadium to face a familiar foe in Week 11.

The San Francisco 49ers return to California to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday. A clash many remember from last season, now occurs once more in very similar fashion. 49ers Quarterback Brock Purdy had his breakout performance against Tampa Bay last season, putting up 185 passing yards, three total touchdowns on 76.2% completion.

Could there be more of the same in 2023, or will fellow QB Baker Mayfield and the competitive Bucs make a stand?

Recently, the Red & Gold have been the the victors in this matchup, winning the last two games against Tampa Bay. San Francisco is 17-9 in the all-time series, dating back to the 1977 season. The two sides last played less than a year ago, the 49ers winning that one, 35-7, last December.

Purdy was a big part of that win, helping the 49ers begin a franchise-tying 15 game regular-season win streak. Now playing through his first full season as a starter (17 games), Purdy has established himself as a franchise quarterback for the 49ers. He has 4,183 passing yards, 31 passing touchdowns and eight interceptions as a starter.

Despite taking the NFL by storm, the Arizona native still feels he has a lot to learn, determined to play with a chip on his shoulder the rest of the way.

“Yeah honestly, I’m still learning with all this, my mindset and stuff throughout the season,” Brock Purdy stated Thursday. “It’s a long season, but even the three games where we lost, it’s like sort of reminding myself, ‘dude, you got to play with that chip on your shoulder again, be hungry and prove to yourself that every single game you got to prove to yourself that you’re supposed to be there.'”

What time does the regular-season game start?

Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. PST on Sunday, Nov. 19th, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Where can I watch the game?

The game will air live on FOX. The broadcast team includes Joe Davis and Daryl Johnston in the booth, with Pam Oliver as the sideline reporter.
