How to watch 49ers v. Cardinals Week 4: TV Channel, start time

On cloud 9 after a 3-0 start to the 2023 NFL season, the 49ers will look to make it four in a row when they face the Cardinals on Sunday.

The San Francisco 49ers face their second divisional opponent of the year in Week 4, with an intriguing Arizona team coming to town.

The Cardinals were thought to be tanking at the start of the year, cutting veteran quarterback Colt McCoy before Week 1. That left newcomer QB Joshua Dobbs to led the charge, propelling AZ to a 1-2 start this season. Their lone win came in Week 3, knocking off the Dallas Cowboys, 28-16. A team that has been competitive all year, now looks to take care of the 49ers on the road.

San Francisco currently leads the all-time series with Arizona at 34-29. The 49ers have a two-game winning streak over them at the moment, scoring 38 points against them in both 2022 showdowns.

The Red & Gold won’t be taking their divisonal foes lightly though, expecting to make a statement against former Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon.

San Francisco will be a little hampered this weekend though, with both wide receivers Deebo Samuel (ribs, knee) and Jauan Jennings (shin) in doubt to play in Week 4. The former is more likely to play than the later, taking it easy during the practice week to give himself the best chance to suit up Sunday.

“I feel pretty good…We’ll just see how I continue to progress for the next couple of days and then we’ll just see what happens,” Samuel stated Friday.

The 49ers will also be getting WR Brandon Aiyuk back on the field against the Cardinals, “good to go” after missing Week 3 with a shoulder issue.

“He had a real good week. Yeah, he’s good to go, off the injury report. Excited to have him back,” coach Kyle Shanahan said about Aiyuk.
