More on 49ers vs. Chiefs

The 49ers and Chiefs came into Week 7 with a lot to play for on both sides. Instead, only one team showed up, as the Red & Gold’s afternoon slowly morphed into a car crash of horrifying proportions.

The San Francisco 49ers fell victim to quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday, losing 28-18. While the scoreline suggests a closer contest, it was anything from it. SF’s offense looked lethargic for most of the game, while its’ defense eventually fell prey to Mahomes’ magic on its’ way to a 3-4 record.
