The 49ers have been reeling from the injury bug for most of the 2024 season, now adding Adrian Amos to give them insurance along the backline of the defense.

The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of the veteran safety to the practice squad Tuesday. In order to make room, SF released wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. While it remains unclear if Amos could suit up for Week 7, he, at the very least, adds competition to a depleted secondary.
