San Francisco 49ers already favorites for 2025 Super Bowl

The San Francisco 49ers have a chance to stamp their ticket to Super Bowl XLVII with a win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

They haven’t even made this year’s Super Bowl and are already the odds-on favorite for Super Bowl XLVIII.

SuperBook Sports released their odds for the 2025 Super Bowl with the Red & Gold +600. That means if you place a $100 bet, you’ll get back $700.

The competitors in this year’s AFC Championship Game, the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens, are tied for second at +1000 with the 49ers opponent, the Detroit Lions, sitting at +1400.

And it makes sense for the 49ers to be a Super Bowl favorite for years to come. On Thursday, the NFL announced its finalists for end-of-season award and San Francisco has two players, Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey, in the running for MVP. The stacked roster includes a dominant defense that allowed the third-fewest points (17.5) and led the league in average turnovers (1.6) and interceptions (1.3) per game last season.

So if they don’t get it there this year 49ers fans, don’t worry, there’s a good chance they make it to the Super Bowl next year.
