As of Wednesday, Oct. 5, every team in the NFC West is 2-2.
The San Francisco 49ers are perfect at home, but no wins on the road. The Arizona Cardinals are the opposite, perfect on the road but winless at home. And the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams are split perfectly down the middle.
This can’t last all season, and eventually, one team will run away with the division. Jeff Howe, NFL reporter for The Athletic, joined Cattles & Ramie on Tuesday to voice his opinion on why that team will be the 49ers.
Topics discussed include:
- Why he wasn’t surprised the 49ers dominated the Rams on Monday night.
- It made sense why the 49ers looked out of sync against the Denver Broncos because Jimmy Garoppolo didn’t have a training camp.
- Once the team figures out its identity and gets into mid-season form, the 49ers can be trouble for the NFC West
- What’s happening with other teams in the NFC West?
- Are the Rams in a lot of trouble?
- How can the Tua Tagovailoa situation play out? And what can the players and NFL do to improve the situation in the future?
