17 years ago today, Bobby Jackson and the Kings beat Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks in Game 1 of the second round

All athletic events will be on pause for the foreseeable future, which is a tough pill to swallow for sports fans around the world.

While this may be a rough time for Sacramento Kings fans, we can look back on some good times while we wait for basketball to make its return.

Kings 124, Mavericks 113 (SAC leads series 1-0)

The Sacramento Kings had three players score 20 points or more 17 years ago today when they defeated the Dallas Mavericks by a final of 124-113 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Backup point guard Bobby Jackson contributed with 23 points off of the Sacramento bench, hitting three three-pointers and swiping three steals over 26 minutes of action.
