Basketball Coaching Legend Pete Carril Joins The Jason Ross & Doug Christie Show

This week on “The Jason Ross & Doug Christie Show”, legendary former Princeton basketball and Sacramento Kings assistant coach Pete Carril joined the show to reflect on his time with the organization, share his thoughts on Rick Adelman and Chris Webber joining the Basketball Hall of Fame and much more.
“Coachie” was an assistant coach with Sacramento for 15 seasons after an illustrious 29-year career as the head coach at Princeton University.
The legendary coach made his jump to the NBA in 1996 when he joined former Kings head coach Garry St. Jean’s coaching staff. Carril played a huge role on Rick Adelman’s staff during Sacramento’s playoff run from 1998-2006.
Carril, 90, was nominated into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006. He went 525–273 over his 30 seasons of coaching NCAA Division 1 Basketball, including 11 appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
