Raiders Decline Fifth Year Options On Trio of 2019 First Round Picks

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Las Vegas Raiders have declined the fifth-year contract options on all three of the team’s 2019 first-round draft picks:
- RB Josh Jacobs
- DE Clelin Ferrell
- S Jonathan Abram
All three players will hit free agency following the 2022 season.
Ferrell, the 4th pick in the draft, finished the 2022 season with 1.5 sacks and eight solo tackles over 16 games.
Jacobs, who was drafted with the 24th selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, followed up a 2021 Pro Bowl season with career-lows in rushing yards (872) although he secured nine touchdowns and racked up a career-high 348 receiving yards.
Abram, the 27th pick in 2019, picked off one pass for an interception during the 2022 season.
