Raiders Blow 10 Point Halftime Lead, Lose To Jaguars 27-20

The Las Vegas Raiders looked like they were going to vindicate last week’s shutout loss to the Saints with a big win against the Jaguars.
Then, things fell apart.
By the end of the first half, the Las Vegas Raiders held a 10-point, 20-10 lead against Jacksonville, with receiver Davante Adams pulling in two touchdowns and 146 yards. According to ESPN, this was the first time in Adams’ career he had over 100 yards receiving in the first half of a game.

Coming out of halftime though, the Jaguars’ defense adjusted, holding Adams to zero additional receiving yards and no scores from the Raiders’ offense. Trevor Lawrence and running back Travis Etienne Jr. rallied the Jaguars’ offense and scored 17 unanswered points.
For the second consecutive game, running back Josh Jacobs did not rush for over 100 yards.
The loss puts the Raiders at 2-6 on the season.
