The Oakland Raiders Give Jalen Richard The Craig Long Award

Jalen Richard has been named the recipient of the fourth-annual Oakland Raiders Craig Long Award.
The team announced that Richard was chosen for the award early Friday, December 19, morning.
The Craig Long Award is presented annually by the Raiders to the player who best illustrates professionalism and collaboration.
Former winners of the Craig Long Award are:
- 2016 – Donald Penn
- 2015 – Charles Woodson
- 2014 – Antonio Smith
Richard, earned a spot on the Raiders’ roster in 2016 as an undrafted rookie free agent and is now the team’s primary punt returner. He was a Pro Bowl alternate as a return specialist in his rookie year.
He is now ranked second on the team with 275 rushing yards on 56 carries, plus a 52-yard touchdown run.
