The Las Vegas Raiders are the first team to start the 2022 NFL Season 0-3.
Josh McDaniels and the offense looked like they might pull out a miracle at the end, but came up short against the Tennessee Titans, 24-22. The Titans’ defense broke up the game-tieing two-point conversion.
The 0-3 start is the worse for the Raiders since 2018. They finished that season 4-12. Since 1970, 233 teams have started their season 0-3 and only six have made the playoffs. And it’s only happened once since 2000.
Quarterback Derek Carr threw for 303 yards and two touchdowns. He also threw one interception, his fifth of the season.
Mack Hollins was one of the lone bright spots for the Black & Silver, setting established single-game career highs in receptions (8) and receiving yards (158). Although Davante Adams caught a touchdown, he was held to only 36 yards receiving on the day.
