Two years after he came out of his first retirement to play for his hometown Oakland Raiders, Marshawn Lynch is retiring.

This isn’t the first time Lynch has retired. Three years ago during Super Bowl 50, Lynch sent out this cryptic tweet:

Lynch would sit out the entire 2016 season before being traded to the Raiders. In his two seasons in Oakland, Lynch played in 21 games rushing for 1,267 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The Oakland native was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2007. He would go on to play three seasons with Buffalo before being traded to the Seattle Seahawks during the 2010 season. His career took off with Seattle, rushing for 1,000 or more yards in four of his six seasons.

Lynch finishes his career with 10,379 yards in his 12-year career. He was named to the Pro Bowl five times and was an All-Pro in 2012. His 10,379 yards is good for 29th on the all-time rushing list.
