The New England Patriots are in need of a wide receiver after losing both Danny Amendola and Dion Lewis. Meanwhile, the Oakland Raiders are getting rid of some after signing former Green Bay Packers receiver Jordy Nelson.
As first reported by Pardon My Take, the Raiders have agreed to trade former first-round pick Cordarrelle Patterson to New England in exchange for the Patriots’ fifth-round draft pick. Oakland will also be sending their sixth-rounder as part of the deal.
In just one season with the Raiders, Patterson caught 31 passes for 309 yards, without a touchdown. He did finish with two carrying touchdowns on 13 attempts for 121 yards.
