It’s only natural that NBA Draft Lottery day comes with a side of “huh”?
Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento shared on Tuesday afternoon that Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadivé’s daughter Anjali Ranadivé has been named the new Assistant General Manger of the franchise’s G-League affiliate, the Stockton Kings.
Ranadivé, 29, had been working with the organization as a coordinator in the Social Responsibility department.
According to the report, Ranadivé will assist all aspects of basketball ops, including G-League player evaluations, development, and strategy under current Stockton Kings general manager Paul Johnson.
Ranadivé, who is also a musician that goes by the stage name “Anjali World” and “Nani”, has performed several times during home Kings games over the years.
In 2013, Ranadivé graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Marine Science before founding Jaws & Paws, a marine and wildlife conservation nonprofit that spreads awareness for the conservation of sharks, polar bears, and tigers.
