Report: Harry Giles III back in the NBA, signs with Nets

Harry Giles III is back in the NBA.
According to a report from Senior NBA Insider Chris Haynes, the former Sacramento Kings center has “reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets.”
Giles has been out of the league for the past two seasons. Earlier this summer, the former first-round pick held workouts for the Nets, as well as the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic and Golden State Warriors.

During his time in Sacramento, the 25-year-old center averaged 7.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. Following his time as a King, Harry Giles signed with the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2020-21 season, where he only played in 38 games and averaged 2.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and less than one assist per game.
Day’Ron Sharpe and Nic Claxton are currently the only centers listed on the Brooklyn Nets’ roster page.
