A day after signing multiple late-round draft picks, the Las Vegas Raiders announced they’ve signed their first-overall selection.
According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the Raiders signed defensive end Tyree Wilson to a four-year, $27 million rookie contract.
Wilson, a defensive end out of Texas Tech, is coming off a senior year where he recorded 14 tackles for a loss and seven sacks before a foot injury cut his season short. In his three years as a Red Raider, Wilson logged 69 solo tackles, 29 tackles for a loss and 15.5 sacks. In his senior year, he was named Second Team Associated Press All-American and First Team Big-12.

“There are two other great pass rushers, Maxx [Crosby] and Chandler [Jones], and I want to come there and learn from the best and take my game to another level,” Wilson said.
On Thursday, the Raiders announced they signed:
- receiver Tre Tucker (third-round pick)
- quarterback Aidan O’Connell (fourth-round pick)
- linebacker Amari Burney (sixth-round pick)
