Tom Brady has allegedly received a hand injury per New England Sports Network. The injury is being said by multiple sources to be linked to his thumb.
NFL, Patriots Write at Boston Globe, Ben Volin linked out to an image of the New England Patriots quarterback to say:
“Looks like Brady is wearing something on his thumb. That’s the one finger you don’t want to injure.”

Tom Brady was scheduled to have a press conference on Wednesday, same day that he allegedly received his hand injury, but Patriots have postponed his press conference to be scheduled on Friday, according to Volin.
David Chao, former Los Angeles Chargers team doctor, believes Brady suffered an “open finger dislocation,” per NESN.
Open finger dislocations occur when the bone pierces the skin from the inside out, but is only a minor injury if located on the pinky, or the ring finger.
NFL’s National Insider, Ian Rapoport, reported:
“#Patriots QB Tom Brady’s right hand “should be OK,” per someone close to him. Another source said simply, “He will play” after his hand was on the injury report.”
