Kings rookie Keegan Murray is recovering following minor surgery on his wrist.
News of the surgery came out Thursday. The procedure was first reported by James Ham and confirmed by the Sacramento Kings. Sources say recovery should be quick and Murray is not expected to miss any basketball activities.
Murray was pictured with a wrap/brace on his wrist at a jersey retirement ceremony held at his former high school, DME Academy in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Murray has had a strong start as a Sacramento King. The number four pick in the 2022 draft led the Kings to a 3-0 record at the California Classic where he averaged just under 20 points and 8 rebounds. He followed that performance by being named to the All-NBA Summer League First Team and was crowned NBA Summer League MVP after he averaged just over 23 points and 7 rebounds in four games for the Kings.
