Roger Goodell To Retire After Contract Expires
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will retire after his contract expires.
Boston quoted NFL spokesperson Joe Lockhart as saying that Goodell “has been clear that he views this as his last contract” and that it will allow him to “deal with some of the important issues that we know are on the horizon.”
According to MSN, his current contract will take Goodell through the 2023 season.
No word yet on candidates to replace him.
Per NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart, Commissioner Roger Goodell will retire after this contract this current expires. This extension is his last contract with the NFL. There will be no free private plane for life. He will pay for personal use of the plane.
