Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis spoke to the media following Sunday’s win against the Detroit Pistons.
The All-Star center discussed what it’s been like playing alongside De’Aaron Fox, talked about what this team needs to do to keep the momentum going forward on the upcoming three-game road trip, shared what it felt like lighting the beam at the end of the game, and much more.
Sabonis tallied his ninth double-double of the season during Sacramento’s sixth-straight win, scoring 15 points (four-of-five shooting from the field), grabbing 13 rebounds, and dishing out seven assists over 34 minutes.
The Sacramento Kings have won six-straight games for the first time since 2005.
This is also the first time that they have been three games over .500 in almost four years.

After hiring Mike Brown as the team’s new coach, the Kings drafted Keegan Murray with the number four overall pick. They continued to make moves over the summer, trading for Kevin Huerter and signing multiple free agents, including guard Malik Monk.
