Draymond Green #23 of the Golden State Warriors drives to the basket against Harrison Barnes #40 of the Sacramento Kings during the first quarter in game seven of the Western Conference First Round Playoffs at Golden 1 Center on April 30, 2023 in Sacramento, California.

Sacramento Kings TV analyst Kayte Christensen joined “The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross” for the first time this season, helping preview Wednesday night’s matchup with the Warriors, talk about Kevin Huerter’s shooting woes, and more.

The last time the Kings and Warriors met, Draymond Green was out with an injury. Sacramento hasn’t seen him in action since last season’s first-round playoff series.

He has since returned, and returned to the starting lineup, pushing Chris Paul to the bench. Golden State is 2-0 with Green back in the lineup and Paul coming off the bench.

“I think defensively, they’re going to be a lot better,” Kayte said of the Warriors. “The Kings need to be aware of what Draymond brings to the table defensively.”

Additional topics discussed include:

  • Kayte’s Halloween festivities
  • How the Kings realistically beat the Golden State Warriors without De’Aaron Fox.
  • Is Kevin Huerter slowly getting out of his slump?
  • Fox’s injury history and how it could help him return sooner than later with his current ankle injury
