The Sacramento Kings want their fans to have the best experience at home games as possible.

That’s why they’ve announced “enhancements” at Golden 1 Center for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

“As we gear up for the regular season, we are excited to enrich our fan experience,” Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart said in a press release. “From exclusive benefits, interactive experiences, new food and beverage concepts and more convenient ways to pay, we are committed to making sure fans have an enjoyable game day.”

Here are what fans can expect at home games this season:

The Sacramento Kings team store

The Beam Team is currently renovating its team store. Until the store reopens in late November, there will be multiple options for fans to buy Kings merch. Fans can visit the team store at the southwest entrance on L Street from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily, a special pop-up shop on the main floor of DOCO’s West Plaza across from Macy’s starting Sunday, Oct. 15, or online.

New food and drinks

Second to team merch at a sporting event is the food.

“Building on Golden 1 Center’s award-winning, locally sourced food and beverage program, the venue has announced a variety of new offerings for Kings fans this season, including a Birria Grilled Cheese at Centro’s, a Double Smash Burger with 916 Sauce at Café Bernardo’s and Gyro Fires at Petra Greek, to name a few,” the Kings said in its press release.

Golden 1 is also offering a new in-arena wine destination, quick snacks from its Power Market, and a new concept kitchen known as the Market Kitchen on the upper level.

Concourse fun and games

The Sacramento Kings are offering fans to participate in the Golden 1 Skills Challenge interactive game outside Section 111.

“During the experience, fans are encouraged to follow movements directed by Sacramento Kings beloved mascot, Slamson and the Golden 1 Credit Union mascot, Goldie, including dribbling on a mini court,” the Kings said in its press release. “As fans collect points, they are rewarded with an opportunity to take a photo with the Sacramento Kings Victory Beam.”

Royalty Pass+

The Sacramento Kings are offering fans a paid version of its digital wallet and mobile in-app experience pass, Royalty Pass+.

Royalty Pass isn’t going away and will continue to offer fans exclusive offers and rewards. Royalty Pass+ offers “fans access to exclusive game-day and season-long benefits, including food and beverage credit at each home game, a $50 Kings Team Store credit, members-only gear, invitations to private events, Playoffs presale access and more.”

Fans can purchase the paid version for $249 here. Click here to download the free version.
