Since the beginning of the 1985-86 season–the inaugural season of Sacramento Kings basketball–only eight players have posted 20 points and 20 rebounds in a single game.
Some of these players might not come as a surprise to you:
Sacramento Kings players to post 20+ points and 20+ rebounds in a single game (Sacramento-era, 1985-present):
DeMarcus Cousins – 11 times – 2011-2016
‘Boogie’ was no stranger to the 20/20 game during his time in Sacramento.
The Kentucky product posted at least 20 points and 20 boards on 11 occasions during the 2011-2016 seasons. Cousins’ most-impressive game out of the 11 was arguably his monster performance in Philadelphia back on March 13, 2015:
- 39 points
- 24 rebounds
- 2 steals
- 1 block
- 12/24 FG
- 15/20 FT
- 40 MIN
Chris Webber – 5 times – 1999-2001
Hall of Fame forward Chris Webber is one of the greatest players in Sacramento Kings history, so of course he is included on this exclusive list.
In fact, Webber could be on one of his own lists: Kings players in franchise history to score 50+ points and pull down 20+ rebounds in a single game.
That list begins and ends with Webber.
On January 5, 2001, Webber had possibly the most impressive single-game performance of any Kings player in franchise history.
- 51 PTS
- 26 REB
- 5 AST
- 3 STL
- 2 BLK
- 24/47 FG
- 50 MIN
Brad Miller – 3 times – 2007-08
The two-time NBA All-Star logged 20/20 games on three occasions during his time with the Kings:
The One-Timers
