The San Francisco Giants have accomplished something in their series against the Chicago White Sox they haven’t done since 1961.

According to Giants PR, for only the eighth time since 1958, the team has hit 10 or more home runs in a three-game series. The Giants rocked the Sox for 13 home runs, with a majority of the dingers coming in the series opener Monday. In that game, the Giants hit seven home runs against the White Sox. The last time the Giants his seven home runs in a single game was in 2002.

The bats went quiet in game two when only one homer flew out of Guaranteed Rate Field but woke up for the finale, when the team hit five against the Sox.

The 13 home runs tied the record in the San Francisco era for most home runs hit in a three-game series, which was set in 1961.

So, let’s go down the list of which san Francisco Giants players hit a home run this week against the Chicago White Sox:

Game 1 – Joc Pederson, Michael Conforto, Thairo Estrada, Mike Yastrzemski, Bryce Johsnon, and David Villar twice

Game 2 – J.D. Davis

Game 3 – Michael Conforto, Blake Sabol, Mike Yastrzemski, Wilmer Flores and J.D. Davis
