CBS13’s Sara Hodges joined the Deuce & Mo Show Monday to talk about the Sacramento Kings’ success post-All-Star break, what has surprised her and what makes this Kings team so special. Plus, what are the challenges for women in sports?

“Not even so much them making the playoffs like, obviously that surprised me. But, I feel like this team can make it out of the first round. Like, I’m surprised that this team is as good as they are. I really am. I feel like they’re one of the best teams in the West,” Hodges said on the show Monday. “Oh my goodness, I’ve been enjoying them so much.”

Topics discussed include:

  • The difference between men & women in sports
  • How surprised is Sara by the Kings seasons?
  • What’s been the most magical thing about this Kings’ season?
  • The coaching similarities between the Kings and Golden State Warriors
  • What makes Mike Brown different from other first-year coaches?
  • What has changed for De’Aaron Fox this season?
