During Wednesday morning’s edition of The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross, former NFL quarterback Sean Salisbury joined the show to share his pick for Sunday night’s highly anticipated matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys.

Sean also explains why he thinks Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels should keep his job for the rest of the 2023 season.

Be sure to listen in to Sactown Sports 1140 on Sunday, October 8th, for the San Francisco 49ers’ matchup against the rival Dallas Cowboys at Levi’s Stadium, with pregame coverage set to begin at 4:20 PM PST before a 5:20 PM PST kick-off from Santa Clara.

Salisbury on 49ers vs. Cowboys

“I think it’s huge. I think we’re talking about two of the best three or four teams in the league right now… I like the 49ers in the game, and you guys know that I have them going to the Super Bowl.”

Salisbury on Josh McDaniels’ future with the Raiders

“I think you gotta give him the year, because I’m not a big subscriber to 10 games in hiring an interim coach… Because you know what you’re going to do? You’re going to fire that interim coach. That interim coach rarely gets the job. As long as there is some peace in the building, even though it may not be comfortable because you aren’t winning, I think you give him the year, and then after if it doesn’t get better, and I mean Quantum Leap strides, you’re going to have to look elsewhere. The Raiders have to hit on this at some point.”
