Shareef O’Neal, son of the legendary Shaquille O’Neal, recently took a nasty fall during a high school basketball game that’s left him sidelined.

TMZ Sports has reported that during Shareef’s senior season debut game, he went in for a layup and got tangled in defenders.

Either lacking the time or the ability to brace himself, he ended up falling hard right onto his head….

While O’Neal eventually got up and moved his way off the court, he never made it back into the game. He’s currently in the team’s concussion protocol and will miss his Tuesday night game as well.

On a lighter note, Shareef is one of the top high school basketball players in the country and he’s has already committed to the University of Arizona.
