The Athletic’s Zach Harper joined Deuce & Mo Tuesday to talk about the Sacramento Kings’ loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, if a Kings-Timberwolves playoff series is worrisome and what Mike Brown will do to make adjustments down the stretch. Plus, can the Kings get out of the first round in the postseason?
All that and more on Deuce & Mo.
“You bring in Mike Brown, He’s just a great coach like he really is,” Harper said on the show. “I think the surprising thing is that the defense is still really bad, in my opinion, but, that’s the best offense in NBA history. Did anyone have that going into the season, they’d be the best offense in NBA history? And it’s not even close. They’ve blown everybody away on offense in terms of a historical standpoint. I’m shocked it kept up, but at this point, how could you not buy in?”
Topics discussed include:
- How do the Kings match up with the Timberwolves in the playoffs?
- Is Minnesota better with Karl-Anthony Towns in the lineup?
- What makes Mike Brown a great coach?
- How will the Kings respond to adversity in the playoffs?
- Which teams are true contenders in the western conference?
- Where does Zach stand in the NBA MVP race?
