Republic FC Defender Elliott Hord Undergoes Surgery

Sacramento Republic FC defender Elliot Hord underwent surgery this past week.

According to the Republic FC website, he had surgery on Jan. 24 to repair a bone bruise in his right knee.

UC Davis Health Orthopedic Surgeon Cassandra Lee performed the surgery, and said

“The surgery went well as we were able to clean up some cartilage to help the bone bruise heal. Elliott could return to the pitch in approximately eight to 12 weeks. We will assess his condition on an ongoing basis.”
